The Gathering 2008
In February 2007 a group of young leaders in Scotland designed, planned and ran a pilot event called "The Gathering". The aim of this event was to engage young people in the BB, to seek their views and opinions, and to enable the voice of young people to be heard at the highest levels of our organisation.
The format of the event, involving discussion, exciting and thought provoking worship, a celebrity speaker, and an unprecedented open forum, question and answer session, with the BB Executive.
With that in mind, it was recognised by the planning committee for Council 2008 and those involved in the planning and delivery of "The Gathering" pilot event, that it would form an ideal format for a young peoples' event at Brigade Council.
We hope to get as many young people from across the whole of the UK and ROI as we can accommodate at Tulliallan Castle.
