Launched in April 2011 the Membership Portal provides 24/7 access for all leaders to view and, where necessary, update their own contact details. Company Captains are also able to view and update the Company record and the records of all leaders within the Company.
As a Battalion Secretary you will be able to view the Company and Leader details for all those in your area. This should prove to be a valuable tool in ensuring you have up to date contact information.
The Statistical Return is also available for Companies to complete via the Membership Portal. By encouraging Companies to complete the return online not only does it speed up the administration process and the issuing of the Company Insurance Certificate, but it will enable Battalion Secretaries to access statistical information much earlier in the session.
There are also plans for a range of reports to be made available to Battalion Secretaries to assist with administrative tasks and in providing statistical information for the Companies in the Battalion.
The reports available will include:
- Address labels for Company Captains
- Membership Report for last session (numbers of children, young people and leaders in each Company)
- Membership report for this session (numbers for those that have completed the return)
- List of all leaders (this can be exported to Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet)
