Disability Advice Network

Disability Advice Network (DAN)

The BB's Disability Advice Network(part of our ongoing work on Equal Opportunities) was set up to support and advise any company or individual on a range of disability issues. If you would like to include children or young people with particular needs or disabilities, then an adviser will be able to suggest some ways of going about this. The advisers will also be able to help with achieving the highest standards of accessibility and good practice in working with disabled young people.

Currently we have 25 advisers throughout the UK. These advisers have been appointed for their experience and knowledge of disability issues, and for their commitment to improving the access of young people to the BB and all its activities.

As we expand the network, we hope to achieve a more even coverage of BB Districts throughout the UK.

Click here for more information on the Role of DAN Advisors. If you would like any advice or support in your work with children and young people, contact Karen Jay at BB UK HQ who will put you in contact with the most appropriate adviser.
