Corporate Support

The Boys' Brigade enables children and young people to develop their full potential through a varied range of activities that challenge, inform and inspire.

It remains as relevant and popular now as it was when the organisation began around 125 years ago.

Seniors (5,999) for young people aged 15-19

Additionally there are adult leaders, who are the volunteers working in groups around the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Collectively our membership totals over 68,000, comprising 54,980 children and young people, and 13,423 leaders.

(* Statistics from 2005-2006)

How is BB UK structured?

BB groups meet weekly (but not exclusively) to undertake their programme in an extensive network of over 1,600 groups throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. A National Office in Hemel Hempstead and Regional Offices support our activities across England, Nothern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Communication With Members

We have a variety of ways through which we communicate with members:

The Gazette

This is our glossy, full-colour, quarterly magazine which is sent to over 10,000 leaders. It contains a mix of resources, news, information and topical features.

BB UK website

Our website attracts many visitors every day and is packed with useful and topical news, information, activities and resources.

HQ Update

This is an electronic newsletter that is sent monthly to registered members.

Resources

We produce a range of resource materials for use across all ages. Our members follow a programme as they attend their weekly meetings. This consists of a variety of activities, badges and awards designed to fulfil their potential and to raise awareness of relevant issues. There may be opportunities to sponsor these resources and work with us in producing resources.

Why work with The Boys' Brigade?

A partnership with BB UK is an ideal way to position your brand positively against a very significant audience. Whether your objectives are raising brand awareness, conducting sampling or looking for PR opportunities, we can help.

If you're targeting a youth market, we can also provide the ideal testing and market research resource, where the real opinions of children and young people can be accessed quickly and simply.

Our 68,000 members are consumers of all the products and services you'd expect of an audience of their age and profile.

And if you're looking further afield, the goodwill in the community accumulated over 125 years towards BB, makes any cause-related marketing activity a very attractive proposition. The Boys' Brigade is well recognised and supported within local communities across the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

How can you help?

We will be really pleased to work with you in numerous ways, whether it's advertising, goods in kind, sponsorship or mutually beneficial projects.
