Ready for the new session, additional programme packs for both the Anchors' and Juniors' are being launched . . .
The Anchors' & Juniors' programmes were originally launched in July 2005 and have been an invaluable resource to leaders working with these age groups. The new programme packs will build on the content already found in the Anchors' and Juniors' programmes with fresh topics and additional ideas for existing topics.
In the new packs you will find new topics for each of the 5 zones (Body, Community, Creativity, Mind & Spirit) as well as new Programmes on a Plate.
The topics will provide you with 100's of activities that you can do with your Anchor Section or Junior Section.
Each programme topic:
- will have an objective
- will have at least 1 hourof activity
- may be split into activities to choose from or work through as a series, meaning that most topics could last more than one week.
- will include instructions,templates, equipment lists, tips & advice.
- may provide ideas on how to take each programme topic further, including: websites,books and other resources.
Many of the topics will also include ideas for a bible/devotional time.
What about the award scheme?
At this time there are no changes with the award scheme for the Anchors' or Juniors' Programmes. All of the topics in the Programme Pack 2 can be used following the existing awards scheme.
Do I need to have purchased the original programme pack?
You can certainly purchase the 'Programme Pack 2' without purchasing the original programme pack (now called 'Programme Pack 1'), but we would recommend that you do purchase it. As the original packs contain lots of information and advice on how to work with the particular age group as well as providing all you need to know about the award scheme and not forgetting all of the topics in these packs which include some of the core games and activities.

When will the packs be available?
The new programme packs are available to order at a special launch price using the form overleaf.
